Contract Work

With a passion for curating unforgettable experiences for communities around the world, I’ve embarked on my journey as a Freelance Event Coordinator. I’ve had the honor of working at intimate and large-scale weddings, brand activations, and other events with trailblazers within the industry such as Soko Productions founded by Sophie Kornick and Details Chicago founded by Sahr Khan. My duties included assisting with setup, execution, and tear down of large and intimate (40-500 attendees) events while managing vendors (caterers, A/V companies, florists, etc.) to ensure smooth event execution.

Virtual Events

As a virtual presentation, I crafted a deck to guide the timeline of the event. We started with a panelist introduction and quickly moved into an interview-type format for our industry experts to share their knowledge. Lastly, we ended with a few short rapid-fire questions/games to encourage participation from our attendees.

We were thrilled to receive an impressive 300 RSVPs, with a turnout of 170+ attendees. With data from a short follow-up survey, attendees enjoyed hearing from our panelists and gained valuable insights on adapting their businesses to meet the needs of the current market.

Adapting to the new normal of virtual events, I organized a virtual Stylist Forum as Garmentier’s Marketing Coordinator in Spring 2021. With months of extensive planning, we secured a panel of nine retail industry experts to facilitate an exciting conversation about the current state of retail. To increase awareness of the event, I developed a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the event with weekly email campaigns, paid social media advertising, and giveaways partnering with our panelists.
